A comic writer asking for advice because they have several projects under their belt but still can't get replies from editors, even when referred by other creators. I get messages like this every week from writers and artists, and I'm not even an editor, which shows how widespread it is.

Some of you have forgotten that only three years ago you were perfectly capable of writing an essay, writing a eulogy, telling a bedtime story to a child, and it should worry you that powerful companies have convinced us we can’t do things we’ve been doing for 5,000 years.

It’s October, which means the countdown is ON until Scream! is out into the world!! i'm in a weird position right now where comics work is slow so i've applied for a few design jobs but while i'm in limbo waiting to hear from those i can't really fully go looking for comics work in case i overcommit

The Mega Man Zero and ZX games had no business bringing designs like these to the table.

Just 2 weeks left to FOC (for indies pre-orders are the difference between smaller shops have a few copies or none at all, so thank you very VERY much for those of you who put this on your pull list 🙌)-
