we just upgraded our database (postgres) from version 16 to 18, with almost zero downtime 🫡 you shouldn't notice anything, except that the feeds might load a little bit faster :3
now we've reached 66.6k furs too, woah! 😈 thanks everyone for supporting, sharing, and using the feeds! ❤️

and we're fully back! sorry again folks! if i have the time and people are interested, i'll write up a small incident review why and how this happened. (tldr: 11pm dogbrain in production)
we're aware that the feeds are erroring with a 502 error. a routine maintenance went sideways due to human (dog?) error, so we have to let our database regenerate a bunch of data. we hope to be back within the next 30 minutes. we'll update here!

We've seen a lot of furs get their Bluesky accounts hacked recently. Make sure to use a long, hard to guess password that is unique to your Bluesky account. As an extra layer of security, enable two-factor authentication in Settings → Privacy and Security, so you get an email code when you sign in.
we're temporarily including posts with the #artfight tag in the art feeds as an experiment. we hope this includes more Art Fight furry art. but it might make the feeds less accurate, so if you see too much non-furry art, please let us know!

Recently, @bsky.app started allowing up to ten images per post, up from four. We received reports that posts with more than four images didn't show up on the art feeds. We rolled out a fix yesterday, and now all posts with one or more images are displayed in the art feeds. Thanks everyone! :3
