An alter ego. Nightmare fuel chemist stealing electricity from the alternator of the world. AuDHD, 🇺🇲/🇧🇪, music, machining, lapidary, cats. Pronouns: first and second person ones, darling.

today we're working on fiducials, (non-authoritative) generated overlays, and more proof coverage non-authoritative only because I'm trying to batch all the remaining physical-acquisition work into one session that I'm procrastinating on because the concrete kitchen floor is uncomfortable

literally blocked by my own lack of hand strength smdh drill-assisted rivnut setting tool arriving tuesday in the meantime I suppose there are proofs to check

successfully gave away a bike to my volcanologist friend, now I only have four bikes which is still kind of too many (folding, cargo, cross, electric)

got basically nothing done today. it's time to start welding, but the "tools that can kill me" anxiety is too damn high if anyone has a pep talk in them I could sure use one

decided to join in the chatgpt counterexamples to open math problems fun, and while I need to sit down and check its work, we might have found a proof that the language of palindromes can be recognized by a parsing expression grammar just a proof, not a grammar, but I'm having it make a grammar now

these little guys will be what hold the machine feet on as soon as I've detached them from the plate, welded the captive nuts on, and welded them to the ends of the legs if they're the joint between the legs and the feet, does that make them ankles?

A steel plate on a workbench. Four 19mm holes have been drilled in it in a grid pattern, and two cuts have been made vertically to the left of and between the holes. There are also some pencil markings indicating other cuts. The bottom left hole has an M16 nut sitting on top of it. A blue joiner's clamp holds the plate to the tabletop.

decided I would rather cut out the gusset plates for the leg with something easier to control than an angle grinder, so there's a jigsaw and rail system arriving tomorrow in the meantime I've plotted all the cuts on the steel and drilled relief holes at the inside corners of the Ts and Ls
