I re-read this article of mine the other day and forgot how much more I could still add: legendsoflocalization.com/articles/per... Someday I'd like to write about Japanese second-person pronouns (words for "you") but it'll be a bit tougher due to needing pairs of characters rather than individuals

@sanewonko.bsky.social Say, do you know what happens if your inventory is completely full and Golbez gives you the crystal to defeat Golbez? I thought I read something about it a long time ago but I'm not really sure what happens - does it maybe just get forced into some item slot regardless?

The last three books about the Choctaw language & culture that I've bought have *ALL* turned out to be just AI-generated junk🤬 It's genuinely infuriating to see this careless nonsense happening, as it dilutes the actual language and culture and makes it harder for me to learn about my own humanity

We have stuff like this in English, like the word "bad", but I'm curious to know what other examples in English there are + what other examples there are in other languages Let me know!

"nikui" can mean "hateful / detestable" OR it can mean "amazing / fantastic / lovely"
