I still produce for my patreon, I started a substack, i’m teaching online classes again & im still no where closer to security.
when i first moved to Portland I could pay my rent off of my Patreon alone. during the pandemic I was able to run a $50k mutual aid fund. I even started teaching 10 months of the year 3 years ago & still i’m constantly behind on bills.
i’ve been housing insecure all year & for the last two months i’ve been trying to raise barley 1K to get further out of debt. it’s become increasingly demoralizing but i’ve been trying to get additional work for over 3 years to avail.
