It really is a fabulous book which doesn’t shy away from examining how the women running women’s cricket for decades were every bit as regressive and elitist as their MCC counterparts in the men’s game, while still celebrating some true heroines I knew nothing about.

Just finished reading this. Raf's passion for women's cricket oozes from every word. It should be required reading for every current & future pro woman cricketer in England. CTTOI It would do the men good to read it too.

The Salary Cap regs for Prem Rugby are public and very detailed! I am not a lawyer, but it looks to me like if an Assistant Coach was married to a player, their salary would count towards the salary cap against the player as a "Connected Party"? (I invite anyone that *is* a lawyer to comment?)

An interesting snippet of information there - a £700,000 prize pot for winning the "Combined" table in The Hundred. That's something like £20K each, assuming most of it goes to the players. #The100 🏏

A couple of quick thoughts on the extra overseas player in the WHundred. It's clearly made a significant difference in how much action domestic players are getting, last season overseas players faced 43% of balls, and delivered 37.5%, this season it's up to 56% and 46%. I don't think there's a 🧵1/3

This is going to look a LOT closer than it is, because similar to the MSG v Spirit game at Lord's a couple of weeks ago, Lanning is happy just to run singles knowing that's all she needs. #The100 🏏
