I was so excited last night to receive two awards from my peers at the Athens Photography Guild during the annual print competition for this portrait of my friend @mariaposa-muse.bsky.social Best Portrait and Best in Show. We made this photograph a few weeks ago in my studio by window light.
They told me I didn't see what I saw. They said they didn't want to hear it. They said he deserved it.

Beautiful @mariaposa-muse.bsky.social in my studio recently. This was made by window light as the sun went down. I am using a Kodak Portra 400 film simulation here. Also remember that most of my photographs are available as museum grade photographs printed by me.

They Only Come Out When The Sun Goes Down A rare sighting at Machen Estate recently when the sun went down and there was a damp chill in the air. Electronics no longer functioned so I got this shot with an old Nikon film camera, and Fomapan film from the Czech Republic.
