one common form of antisemitism is associating Jewish people with inauthenticity. So saying Jews are not Jews, or is a form of antisemitism. It's bigotry. it's a form of targeted hate.

When Fred Guttenberg calls Bernie Sanders an "antisemite" and dismisses Brad Lander's Jewishness, he is defining identity through an association with Israel's right-wing government. It's similar to how MAGA often defines true "whiteness" as allegiance to far-right politics.

The fact that he hides behind his dead daughter to do it makes it that much more despicable. He's trashing her legacy when he does that. I'll never claim to understand the level of grief a parent feels when their child gets murdered but I can guarantee she wouldn't want him doing what he's doing

I was appalled (though not surprised) when I learned Sunday that Senate Dems intend to help Republicans fund the government through the election, with one minimal concession that has nothing to do with election subversion or ongoing Trump theft of federal dollars from blue states. And I remain so.

The “Riley Gaines” microphone case is priceless. It’s as if she’s some sort of actual reporter and not a cro-magnon dipshit who sits at home complaining about nonsense. Humiliating work. It’s hilarious watching all these sub-mediocre losers be raging narcissists. You are nothing, Riley.

There’s this presumption that bc Haley Stevens won a right-leaning House district, she can easily turn out the margins necessary in more liberal districts to win statewide. We haven’t actually seen Stevens try to achieve this, and her numbers with young people in particular are awful.

I'm old enough to remember Gary Hart (!) using that argument and even putting "Electability" on his podium signs during the 1984 primaries. (It didn't work, obviously, but in retrospect, no one could have beaten Reagan that year.)

Electability is Parking the Bus or playing prevent. Only works if you already have a huge lead.

The "electability" argument in a party primary, especially one rooted in hypothetical head-to-head general election match ups have never worked and are often flat-out wrong. At this point, they just scream desperation.
