Train snackage sorted, day tripping to stockport for a guided pub tour! Apart from from one fantastic pub going above and beyond for cider that's it's for apples/pears so looking forward to a day of different beers from the norff.

Sent down some entries to the British cider championships at the royal bath and west show at the beginning of the week.Got a message to say I'd got best in class Friday evening. Wasn't seriously expecting that. Well done to everyone else who'd entered.

Big apple Blossomtime next weekend, thought I ought to taste a few bottles over the next coming days. This perry is currently in reserve candidate spot. Better than last Saturday's bottle which was a nope.

Too little for a demi John, just a tadge to high in SG for bottle, tasting too great for the drain. Go on then you've done the hard graft for the week!
All the hype of a rare perry pear and a Christmas present mouse drainpour, so disappointed! At least it's only a 375ml wasted. At least the bottle will be more enjoyable through re-filling. Felt really bad pouring it away in front of those who bought it me! 😞😞
Happy something or other day to ME! This bulmers Norman is tasting fantastic such an underappreciated apple.
Popped to the cider local, three nice half's of balls,brown snout, and our orchard. Grateful to see an independent pub supporting plenty of very local cidermakers. Not many places that local ciders sell out, compared to the Somerset grown mangos like the gamekeepers in Eastwood.
Today's activities so far, joined the library and made some new bookmarks from old cider labels purchased from rossfest last year. Seems fitting for the weather today.

Out early, home early, bed early. New Year's Eve beer break enjoyed, visited a brewery taproom and quality locals local. Have a very happy and safe news years everyone! Normal cider and perry service resumed tomorrow!
