Made some amazing sounding mics for super cheap using some em172 capsules I've had unused spare for years. Used some super cheap XLR adapters as the mic bodies and then finished them off with some 3d printed parts

Trying out thick ceramic piezo elements (meant for ultrasonic misters) as contact mics. They sound really good, much less resonant and honky than standard metal ones but, less sensitive so need more preamp juice

One thing I found super-interesting reading Deleuze is simply his approach, how he looks at earlier philosophers (Spinoza, Kant, Nietzsche) and I occasionally think: wow, you can do that?
