I don't live in Michigan so I haven't been paying attention to the primary but I just want to register, in case no one has ever said it before, that Abdul El-Sayed is very handsome.

Season 3 started SO strong but the back half has been a messy slog. My suspicion is Condal didn't want Battle Above Gods Eye yet because they didn't want to lose a certain actor's fanbase before season 4. But this means we had a whole season leading up to Tumbleton? That's too much.

New Spiderman is good. Gets Peter Parker back to street-level stuff which is what the character is better at. Tom Holland still hot and charming. Fun Yelena scene. No annoying multiverse goobledygook. Could’ve maybe been 20 minutes shorter but it’s fine—there was a lot of premise to set up

Do I have any friends with a pool? Bc I'm getting used to doing my august syllabus prep with a pool while i'm staying at my MIL's house. But my backyard is entirely covered in trees and doesn't lend itself well to installing one...

It's good for folks to know these things. With #Adequate, initial proposal submissions to actual publication was about 3 years and MANY people commented that it was an unusually fast and smooth turnaround. (It didn't always feel that way doing the daily work of it though)
