WOO thanks for the support last post!! (300 likes???) I'm trying to get back into posting gamedev daily! To show the actual game I'm working on: it's a 3D puzzle platformer where you play as two characters simultaneously, and is basically A Hat in Time meets the multiplayer mode of Portal 2. #godot

Take a tour with me. I tried decorating with all the new items and building styles. this is all built from scratch. players get to design any layout they want and are free to redecorate endlessly. Here's my inn with a cabin and restaurant. if interested consider giving Alpine Lake a wishlist!

btw i dont think theres a way amazon wasnt using all the streams and chats etc for training already. the fact that they added an opt out toggle for it suggests to me that they think they have enough data now to afford losing a sizeable portion of fresh data (but obv not enough to make it opt in lol)

still debug visualizations, but i just added a face translation tool to my level editor. you can now almost build basic blockouts with this thing so im excited to get more working before moving on to even more complex stuff like texturing! 🤞🤞🤞 #leveldesign #godotengine #gamedev

so... im working on a level editor now because i miss hammer. here's an early vid of the clipping tool working with debug visualizations. watch this space if you also yearn for the days of old CSG #leveldesign #godotengine #gamedev (does this tag even apply if its an app for gamedevs?)

this shit is so absurd that my only reaction is laughter. like what is even happening anymore, this world is so fake take me out pls

its not a good thing that godot engine is accepting PRs that were even partially assisted by AI. im honestly disappointed that after the wave of slop PRs they havent taken a strong stand against it. am i going to have to label my games as containing AI code now, due to AI code being in its runtime?
