this reinforces my new pet hypothesis, that AI will produce slop that looks good only if you're not an expert. really using AI effectively means you have to know what you're doing. but accepting random advice on things you know nothing about can give you garbage like this.

We decided to look deeper into what is happening. My team pulled nursing rosters from CA, FL, IA, and TX and classified the schools training NPs as for-profit or non-profit. We found something shocking - nearly 1 in 3 newly licensed NPs in 2024 was trained at a for-profit school! That's massive.
