Welp. My day just got interesting. Covering for my boss meeting with the CEO/incoming CEO to talk about a 'podcast' covering the transition.

I went to the zoo with friends a few weeks ago, and inbetween trying to catch fancy Pokemon, I decided to take my camera for some practice. I need more excuses for stuff like this, it was fun.

I'll prolly be a little slow to respond due to just so. so many meetings this afternoon. But let's play TMI Tuesday all the same, I could use the distraction. And stealing @basilbunny.bsky.social's idea - have you seen the pngtuber series @kircai.bsky.social did for the LT stream a few weeks ago?

Anyone know any suit builders / crafters who've done beaver tails before? It's a rather atypical one and I've not had a ton of luck browsing online.

One last race in this runDisney season. 10 more miles and I'm done until next January. Spending time, as I often do, holding the pace for others today. This one's for you, Jeff.

Upper half of a white sleeveless race tee that says 'Galloway Pacing Team' in a blue gradient, and a blue and green memorial ribbon.

Ah, the modern workplace. I submit an unnecessary report I had Copilot write for me, and my boss responds with a thoughtful copilot written response. I hate this timeline.

Because @basilbunny.bsky.social is awesome, I got in to get my very cracked tooth sorted today. Like...I feel like I have been getting better about coping with much of the stress getting thrown at me, but dental stuff? Sheesh, hard shut down there. But they got me there (2x) and it's done. Ow.

Anyone else had that thing where you've been operating at high-stress for so long that even a brief reduction in said stress levels is both eerie and you almost feel sick for not feeling sick?

What's the day job like today? Boss: "Please tell me the priority of a project I assigned to someone else on my team that was completed 6 months ago, based on a prioritization system that was developed 3 weeks ago."

Following up on my very intense weekend. One of my favorite things over race weekends is getting to pace. I get to distract folks from the challenge of the race, encourage them, and often help them cross a finish line for the first time. It's a very special kind of magic.

I don't talk about running here as often as perhaps I ought to. But it's been a rough night. On the way down to run at Disney, I found out that Jeff Galloway, Olympian, and the man whose methods got me into running, passed away. This is going to be an intense weekend.
