Finding out that Kindle has achievements may finally be the thing that encourages me to read more. Because, apparently, I just need to gamify EVERYTHING.

Off to play Padel for the first time. There’s a very real chance I come back completely insufferable and make this my sole personality trait. Apologies in advance, maybe?
I did consider grabbing Star Wars Zero Company, but decided I should probably actually finish Marvel’s Midnight Suns first - Marvel is more my thing, and it’s the same genre, so it's close enough. The problem is I LOVE half of Midnight Suns and absolutely HATE the other half. So... this’ll be fun?
Whaaaaat, I’m not jealous that people have been able to see Guild Wars 3 behind closed doors. Not jealous enough to consider streaming Guild Wars 2 FROM SCRATCH, documenting the entire journey, and doing absolutely nothing else until GW3 comes out. That would be completely unreasonable. 👀
yeah sure whatever, let lara croft cook potato stew on her phone for 2m0s of damage resistance who gives a shit anymore
Definitely an adjustment returning to work after two weeks off, during which you got married(!), surrounded by love, laughter and actual human emotion… only to return to an industry where personality is discouraged, and colleagues are soulless robots fuelled by the tears of those who bemoan Teams...
Wedding previews are back and it’s giving Vogue ghost princess 🖤👻👑
Had the absolute best day I could have possibly dreamt of yesterday. Not sure I’ll ever come down from this beautiful high. 💒
💒💍
Kids in bed, last of the pre-wedding jobs being finished, and then… I guess I’m supposed to try and relax? Feels very weird doing all this without my soon-to-be wife at home with me. Not long now!
Out of office: ON. Responsibility: OFF. Wedding: NEXT WEEK?! 💍
Hey everybody. I’ve seen the statement by Matt Karch, the CEO of Saber Entertainment, and all of the truly horrendous things he said about me. I think it should be obvious to anyone who reads that statement that he’s lashing out because he did not want people to know there was AI use in the game.
As we hit 100 days until GTA VI, I’d just like to stir the pot by reminding everyone that Red Dead Redemption 2 is Rockstar’s masterpiece. Red Dead Redemption comes second. GTA V or the GTA IV: Ballad of Gay Tony DLC can fight for bronze.
Finally got round to watching Obsession… and I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever been that stressed watching anything in my life. I’m not sure if my heart rate will ever recover.
ArenaNet: “We’re adding more playable species over time!” Me: “Oh, that’s amazing. I can’t wait to see them all.” Also me: Picks Human. Again.

“Hi can you confirm this dress is ok to wear to your wedding and isn’t too white?” -sends a picture of white dress- Anyway, 2 weeks to go! Yay! Everything is fine!

Hot take: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is so, so much better than the first game. I gave the original about 10 hours, but I just couldn’t get on with how clunky and awkward it all felt. XC2 has hooked me almost immediately. Night and day.
I scheduled a post on @buffer.com well over a year ago, and somehow there's only 36 days until it goes live. I still can't get my head around how quickly the wedding has come around - especially considering the countdown started at 800-something days 💍
Farleigh: “I’m going to throw shoes at you like Donkey Kong.” Me: “Donkey Kong doesn’t throw shoes?” Farleigh: “Oh, well, you know, he stands on top of something and throws something.”

Loving Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced so far, But I need to have a Word with whoever decided the subtitles should Randomly Capitalise Things. It’s irrational how much this is bothering me, and I can’t stop noticing it.
