Today marks 37 yrs since United Flight 232 crash-landed in Sioux City after a failure of the tail engine & loss of most flight controls. The crew is credited for saving 185 of the 296 lives aboard in what most believed would have been a complete loss of life w/o heroic efforts.

Known Crewmember (KCM) is continuing its transition to the new program called Crewmember Access Point (CMAP), which is managed by TSA. KCM is planned to sunset by the end of 2026. TSA is rolling out field testing for CMAP in the coming weeks. More info: afacwa.org/cmap-rollout...

We remember 153 people who died after Pan Am Flight 759 crashed outside of New Orleans on July 9, 1982, including Flight Attendants James Fijut, Lucille Brown, Vivian Ford, Dennis Donnelly, as well as Capt. Kenneth McCullers, F/O Donald Pierce and Flight Engineer Leo Noone.

In the face of danger, even after 2 Flight Attendants had been ejected from the aircraft on impact, Aviation’s First Responders took action to save lives.

Airline workers should have the right to start unions. Today, over 80% of three of the four largest airline workforces have joined their unions. I am concerned by reports that Delta has engaged in union-busting behavior, denying their workers that right.

Today, we remember the two Captains, two First Officers and North Central Airlines Flight Attendant Frances M. Rabb, along with 8 passengers, who perished after Air Wisconsin Flight 671 and North Central Airlines Flight 290 collided over Lake Winnebago near Appleton, Wisconsin on June 29, 1972.

172 Representatives just signed a letter to Delta mgmt urging them to remain neutral in our organizing campaign. This is huge. Lawmakers sent a clear message to mgmt that union busting won’t fly – & they’re doing everything possible to support our right to organize.

Delta flight attendants have the right to organize without intimidation from management. I stand with Delta AFA as they organize to form a union. #Unionstrong
