Most people apply transfers as an afterthought at the end of their painting process. Painting over them is an easy way to make your transfers look less stuck on. In this example, I added light sponge chipping to the transfer and a wash to the shoulder pad. #warhammercommunity
This photo doesn't do it justice, but I was incredibly happy with the @nottshobbies.bsky.social verdigris oil wash. I've been noodling away at this dice tower for ages - it's massive! - and the wash immediately elevated it. Needs more wash layers and some other finishing yet, but getting there
