Kyiv today. I was near my favourite spot and decided to stop there for a while.

Kyiv. At least five people were killed during russian attacks today. I’m going to the exhibition to explore Ukrainian heritage. One city. One war. We pack our pain into already heavy backpacks and keep going.

I am reading about the damage caused by russian attacks in Kyiv last night. Maternity hospital, warehouse, cars, houses… Two people killed. It’s raining. I had two cups of warcoffee. The drone threat has lasted more than 7 hours. I don’t know what has lasted longer: the rain or the drones.

After spending some time outside Ukraine,my parents found a disturbing way to describe what life back home feels like. It’s like being sentenced to death without knowing when—or whether—the sentence will be carried out. And somehow,you’re expected to build a life inside that uncertainty. #Ukraine

On Sunday, I sent a letter. Since March 16, 2022, Ukraine has observed a minute of silence to honour defenders and civilians killed in the war. Every day at 9 am. I looked into the history of collective silence, and it became a letter.

The Ukrainian town of Maryinka was located in the Donetsk region. Before the arrival of russian troops, it was a cozy, green, and peaceful town with a population of about 10,000 people. This is what it means to neighbor russia...

...And Kramatorsk again. And again Ukrainians are sitting outside their destroyed homes. Today, the russians dropped four FAB-250 aerial bombs on the city. As a result of the attack, a 58-year-old man was killed, and there are also injured people.
