I'm going to be taking a social media break, but mead waits for no one. So I figured I would share this one transferred into the carboy, along with it's sibling. Left is a wildflower honey, and right is a raspberry blossom honey, great examples of how the variety changes a lot about the mead #mead

Two one-gallon jugs of mead sit on a countertop. The left is a very dark brown, while the right is a more traditional dark yellow. Neither of rhem are clear yet, further darkening their appearance. The right one is under a cap instead of an airlock to promote a mild carvonation

"Fermentation looks weird, trust the process," I keep repeating myself before working up the courage to taste this (it was perfectly fine) #mead

A bucket sits on the floor with a less than savory disposition. It is a medium brown with stiff, viscous looking bubbles sitting on top in two tall clumps
