The Pirate Planet by Douglas Adams adapted by @gossjam.bsky.social is a masterclass in what a novelisation should be. A rare five stars from me and makes me want to read the unabridged version!

Awful editing aside The TV story is so much better. Whilst the novelisation is decent it does plod along in most of its chapters and looses the sinisterness of the Daleks that we see on the screen. Just lacks the punch the episode gave me. #DoctorWho
