Woodwind driven unpopular pop songs, new album and radio show coming soon.

The news will be coming thick and fast from me in the next couple of weeks, but my new album Pan will be available to preorder from Bandcamp from tomorrow! Don’t buy online if you’re coming to see me in person x

An illuminated letter P, from the album art, drawn by my mum. The P looks like some sort of sundew plant and there is a yellow goat sheltering in it.

Just got blocked from a conversation about Tom Morello before I could explain that he had booked Pantera to support Black Sabbath and that was not in line with his political beliefs. Seems despite three people asking for clarification, I’m not allowed to clarify. Odd place this.

Looking forward to meeting lots of new friends IRL this year, let me know what I should be checking out en route. Would also consider more shows… 15th March Lincoln 20th March Newcastle 22nd March Edinburgh 28th March London 29th March Southend 23rd Sept Manchester 25th Sept Oxford

A photo of frosty bark with the words TOUR DATES 2025 in Pettaluck brand orange over the top.

Have you heard the tale of the Paglesham Peacock? A shadowy figure who trades with the shades for bright feathers to adorn himself, in a remorseless quest to escape the darkness and dazzle like other peacocks, the peacocks of our world.

Ruth and I went to Paglesham and when I took a photo of our shadows they looked like two animalistic characters doing a trade. I’m the big fat peacock, of course.

I was so engrossed in making a pretty picture appear on IG I totally missed the fact that everyone was leaving that platform. You can hardly blame me though when the picture in question was this beautiful album art from Jack Cooper. The alt text on this is gonna be interesting…..

My new album cover by artist Jack Cooper. It’s dark and proggy, ink drawn. There are two central figures, the one on the right is a bit goaty and the left one is a bit rabbity, but there are also elements of electrical light and metallic plantyness. Down the left hand side is a sort of cabled stem and some things that look like kidneys.

BCF so I am compelled to mention the Sunfish Starfish Christmas album Good Tidings which I was still editing at 5am this morning. I’m biased but it actually is really good. All proceeds to the marine Conservation Society in the hopes of cleaner waterways in 2025.

Not recorded a Christmas song for a while but this year I’ve got two, one on the Sunfish Starfish compilation for the Marine Conservation Society (still 1 week to get on board with that if you’re a noise artist) and today’s weird jam just went off to Wormhole World!
