I already explained it on stream last night, but yes I opted out of the gen AI crap. I have been very tired of this nonsense and they keep trying to sell it to us as a "good" thing when we know that's not true. I also encourage supporting us via Ko-Fi and Throne. Remember kids, EAT THE RICH. 😤

Some streamers are talking about YouTube as an alternative due to Twitch’s GenAi training issue but YouTube has been doing that longer and isn’t as transparent about it. You can opt out but theres also this disclaimer that you can’t opt out of them still using your content to train thier ai 🫠

A disclaimer that says: The settings shown only control third-party access to content for Al training (off by default) and features like dubbing/enhancements; they do not prevent YouTube/Google from using videos for its own Al training, for which no opt-out exists.

I'm very strict when it comes to following other people on Twitch; obviously, I'm not going to follow people if they have a "No Politics" rule, but what also bothers me is people who only have one rule shown. Get that half-ass shit out of my face. You're not even trying at that point.
