So uhhhhhh… Apparently meta's muse "AI" is just straight up doxxing people to strangers on FB marketplace??? This has the potential to hurt so so many people, and I genuinely wonder how long before they roll out a fix for it.

Every time I see something about using LLM's for marking I die a little.

Saying that large language models feel pain because they have been trained to avoid certain actions is like saying that calculators can breastfeed because you can spell out BOOBS on them.

honestly, seeing through the AI hype is the weirdest, most surreal, most exhausting place to be right now.

It is a huge shame to see so much language attributing agency, intent and thought to a software program, when all that should be attributed to the humans who designed a dangerously clumsy and broken looping LLM. Means the companies won't be held accountable for designing a bad product

A lot of activities are designed around the assumption that everyone is neurotypical, perfectly healthy and mobile, and can eat anything without issue. It certainly takes work to design activities that are inclusive and build trust, but it's worth it.

Students are so willing to hand their learning over to an AI because they have been taught that the goal of school is to get a good mark.
