They/Them, Mostly screams about cartoons but I'm working on something maybe?

to be clear, i hate tech and finance dipshits as much as the next guy (probably even moreso). i just think it’s reductive to describe how much they suck as primarily a function of their masculinity while flattening the very concept of brotherhood in the process. it’s both lazy and imprecise

a “tech bro” is a solid dude who knows how to configure a dorm-wide LAN so that everyone can share their movie rips and video game ISOs with each other. your bay area LLM gazillionaires who love money and hate the computer are “tech dipshits”

i hate the usage of the word “bros” to describe the men who are ruining our world through the tools of finance and technology. i believe “bro” to be one of the highest honorifics one can bestow upon a man; these guys have none of the solidarity or respect i would expect from anyone i’d call a bro

"Pronouns used to be a funny joke, Hank. Until the government tried to tell me I couldn't use them anymore. So now I'm adamant about making sure trans people are gendered right. Not for their sake. But because I'll be damned if the US government is going to tell me what words I can and can't use."
