let’s just pretend everything I play in FACGCE turns into the same song wanted to test some more sounds on the new tape player. Also I’m playing with circuits on a breadboard so this is guitar through a super simple ‘drive’ circuit…(10) layers in Logic then recorded to tape for squidge #ambient

GenAI is a tech bubble of hype and absurdity. It runs on nothing but vibes and dollar signs in billionaire's eyes. But that's why we must resist it. We broke NFTs, we broke the Metaverse, we can break this nonsense too.

The reason RAM prices went up 4x is that a massive amount of not-yet-manufactured memory was bought with money that doesn't really exist to put into GPUs that haven't been made yet, to be installed in data centers that haven't been built, powered by infrastructure that may never exist, to satisfy demand that isn't actually there, in order to generate profits that are mathematically impossible.

As a macbook user, what’s up with these posts i see where people are like ”check out my new PC” and its a giant, mostly empty aquarium-looking thing with flashing lights and fans? Why are they so huge? Why are they so empty?

Even if you’re tired of hearing about how terrible the current regime is…this is worth paying attention to.

NEW: lots of you have sent me this article asking for my thoughts. I’ve been able to confirm it. Just as she says, Trump’s administration is staging vote.gov on a non-government cloudflare account under the EOP where there’s no oversight or accounting. 1/ open.substack.com/pub/thedreyd...
