Exactly 2 years ago, Crookhaven 1 was published. Since then, my book has been published in 15 countries, with more to come. I am so incredibly grateful that my crew of little crooks have had the chance to travel the world & meet kid readers all over. And we're not done yet 😉

Lovely lazy Saturday. A stormy beach walk, followed by wallowing in @mogwai.scot music and reading Book 4 in the fab “CrookHaven” series by @joelarcanjo.bsky.social. The stakes have definitely risen. Love being back with this crew. Know a few kids who are desperate to read it when I finish.

I've never experienced a year with quite as many brilliant peaks and grim troughs as 2024. But I can't let it end without saying a big thank you to everyone involved in the Crookhaven series, especially you lovely readers. I'm so excited for you to read the final 2 books in 2025!
