It's reward time at my Patreon! This month: Introducing Brizan, my lovely, stupid Tav. πŸ’œ He and Halsin have had an Arrangementβ„’ for some time, but Brizan remains as earnest and sincere in his attempts at courtship as he was in the beginning. See what they get up to for as little as a buck! πŸ‘€βœ¨ #BG3

Digitally drawn Baldur's Gate 3 fanart in colour. Brizan, a Zariel Tiefling and the beloved original character of the artist and skeet author, is handing an expensive-looking book to Halsin while they are at camp together on a sunny afternoon. Halsin is smiling as he receives it. Their dialogue reads:
Brizan: That trader had it. The pictures looked nice, and I remembered you saying about missing your library back at the Grove, so I bought it.
Halsin: That's very thoughtful of you, Brizan. Thank you.
Both Brizan and Halsin are in their camp clothes, and they are both notably thickly built.
The artist and skeet author's Patreon address (patreon.com/drtanner) is also written on the piece.A continuation of the scene in the previous image in two parts. In the first panel, the view has drawn in close to the book as Brizan hands it gently to Halsin. Its cover, embossed in shiny gold, reads "A Guide To Common & Uncommon Waterfowl of FaerΓ»n, by Rilandawar Radir" and bears a stylised drawing of a swan on the water. The dialogue reads:
Brizan: I... thought we might read it together, actually. You, me, and... you know. The children.
Halsin: Oh? I hadn't imagined that you were so interested in such things!
In the second panel, we finally see Brizan properly as he smiles at Halsin, a little nervously, his cheeks flushed. His dialogue reads:
Brizan: Well, you're interested in them. And I'm interested in you, so...
Brizan is tall, broad and stocky, with large, ivory-coloured horns, lavender purple skin and mismatched eyes; his right eye (our left) has been replaced with an Ersatz Eye, while his left being purple with black sclera. His long hair is styled into locs, white with black highlights, giving the appearance of some locs being fully white, and others fully black. He has a heavy brow, a large, wide, somewhat crooked nose a thick jaw and full lips, and has faded white facial tattoos and Bear Heart facial piercings. The artist and skeet author's Patreon (patreon.com/drtanner), Pillowfort (pillowfort.social/drtanner) and Bluesky (drtanner.bsky) addresses are also written on the piece. A continuation of the scene in the previous images, in two parts. Halsin is smiling brightly, holding the gifted book close in both hands as his face lights up, his own cheeks flushing a little at Brizan's suggestion. His dialogue reads:
Halsin: Oh! Well! I can hardly say no to that, can I?
In the second panel, some time has evidently passed; it is now dusk, and Halsin is sitting on the ground with Brizan, Scratch and the owlbear cub, all three of them listening intently as Halsin talks at length about the habits and habitat of ducks, showing his attentive audience the illustrations of male and female mallard ducks in the book Brizan has given him. Both Scratch's and Brizan's tails are wagging happily as he talks. The scene dialogue reads:
Narrator: *It seems you're going to learn a great deal about ducks tonight.*

If you're an artist who does big numbers on twitt and didn't feel happy with the numbers you got on bsky so you went back to twitt, consider: 1. It's a nazi website 2. The numbers are lower but from my experience the engagement is way more authentic
