I would like to follow this up with my firmly-held and very Midwestern opinion that automated in-ground irrigation systems for single family homes are rich people nonsense, and this colors my thoughts.

The thing about chasing charging speeds on-par with gasoline refueling is that, as I've said zillions of times, day to day charging at home or work can be slow AF and you won't care (so for the love of god get more chargers at workplaces and apartments etc.) and also ffs you could just be patient
