the elites don’t want you to know the key to rendering is copying everything and blurring it just a little bit
goofing around with halftone. clip studio paint's options are okay, they could use some antialiasing
I am in awe. @provolonecinco.com absolutely knocked this out of the park. Tactus officially has key #art! I'm scrambling to get the Steam page through review, and trying to get this printed in time for #Magfest. Did you know Tactus will be at MAGFest 2026? Come find me at Indie Retro. :D #indiedev
@pasatempiocs.bsky.social's Kaguya (composite filter brought to you by @gumball2415.github.io's excellent python script)
I've now signed the contract for the production of Super Sunny World 🌞 physical carts... Things are starting to come together! #nesdev
back on the n64 for a little while, small scene I can use to explore more 3D concepts
Finally getting to do some optimizations :) Improved the engine to handle twice as many objects without slowdown. #NESdev That's gonna come in handy for 4-player mode, which is especially taxing on the CPU...
enjoy some crusted up hit detection as a treat ...will need to draw a new field! #snesdev
Dusting off the #SNES baseball engine. cleaned up the mess of code it once was and now I can add more stuff hoping to get a little demo put together for the snesdev jam going on
Just uploaded NEXXT 3.5 to itch. This quick recording showcases a few of the new features, incl. metatile rosters, cycling, & clonestamp eraser. Cycling through favourites, you won't need to move the mouse back & forth as much. Also works on regular tiles & palettes. frankengraphics.itch.io/nexxt
so nice to see these in-engine!
Mad props to @provolonecinco.com for working with my weird hardware palette constraints. This title screen splash art turned out great, and I'm able to draw it on NES hardware with the player's custom palette choices. Here "you" are, rendered with all the current presets. #pixelart #gamedev
