I've seen a rise in videos about speculation in TCGs. Solution is to stop buying & print proxies. Organize proxy events. Don't play in official tourneys in formats with stupidly high card prices. I stopped attending Eternal Weekend after 2019 for this reason TCGs are cheap copes if you print proxies
