Lovely day out at Beer today. First time kids and wife have been - we will be back again! I have ran through it a few times!

Not ran for nearly 2 months. Had a little rest, family time and recovery. Definitely felt it today getting in a hilly half on the #quantocks with some fab people.
What an incredible day at Ashton Park School! @ottleyoconnor @ASCL_UK Denham @MrTeece_ @chrisedwardsuk Martyn Reah @ShonoghP 1/4
End of term. Didn’t think I would see this whilst on duty at the end of the day! Love our kids at our school.
The weather was lush! Great views on my afternoon duty walk/spot to wave our children goodbye for the evening.
One small win. That’s the whole post. 🕯️ Social media often feels like a race to the top, but sometimes the best thing we can do for our network is to highlight the small stuff. I’m starting the #PassTheLight challenge for the next 30 days. The Rules: 1. 1/3

Celebrating #InternationalWomensDay . Thank you for everything you do. Thank you to all the women who have made a huge difference to my own life, professionally, personally and of course , my amazing mum, my incredible wife and my strong, happy and powerful daughters.
Cousin Jack Ultra completed. Really tough day out after weeks of family and my own illness; very little training, but still got it done. Humbled I can do these things! 35 miles and 7000ft of climbing. Cornwall was lush! @WeAreERC @TeachersRunClub @teacher5aday

Well - that’s been fun. Family had norovirus over half term and thought I dodged it! Hit me hard Sunday evening! Hope to be back in work Thursday after a horrendous few days. Gutted to miss the start of term.
11 weeks today I am taking on the Wes country ultra 100 miler to raise money for Force Cancer charity. If you can donate or share - it would be greatly appreciated www.justgiving.com/page/richard...
Seals! All enjoying a nice snooze. Last lovely walk before heading home. Managed to get back to the car just before heavens opened up properly! Thank you cornwall for a lovely few days.
Needed!! It has been a really busy 2026 so far. Lots of personal stuff and lots of work stuff. Love and embrace it all - and a real privilege to experience all those different challenges and pressures. It just means something is expected of you. 1/4
A very busy week. Driving to Loughborough for our ASCL council meeting which was superb. Really strong work across the sector and showing we are the adult in the room. Then a long drive via home so Mrs U and I can have a weekend away together is St Ives.
As I complete my third year of Headship I have some capacity to offer support/mentoring to 1/2 aspiring leaders, particularly those under represented such as women and BAME colleagues. If interested, feel free to get in touch. #HeforShe #Ally #HelpOthers
