I fully gave up on being a full-time Vikings fan after we lost to Philly in the NFCCG after the Minneapolis Miracle. I sometimes regret my decision, but days like today, when I see MN sports fans losing their minds, I know I made the right move.
I named my dog "Nature" because he abhors the vacuum.

I know the feed is bleak, but please have a brand new lamb picture. I wasn’t expecting this one, and he might be a premie, but his mom is great and he is eating well.
Defund and abolish ICE. Melt down their weapons and shift its budget to social services and affordable housing. Ban everyone who led or worked for ICE from any government job. Corporate death penalty for the companies that aided them. Citizenship to all of its victims, should they want it.
Doing an America, at a high school football game to support my colleague who coaches the football team.
I remember thinking around 20 years ago how awesome it was that the nerds ended up winning against the jocks after all. My fellow social rejects now had the reins of power and influence and we were going to have great tech and less weird machismo. How absurd that looks now.

It's telling that men would rather try to invent tech to replace humans' role in caregiving than step up as equal partners in parenting. Telling, that is, in that it shows how financial capitalism and patriarchy work together to dissuade men from doing "unprofitable" labor, like the work of care.
I get extra shit routinely at my local Popeyes simply because I'm always pleasant. TBF, I'm basically always pleasant, so I'm not doing anything hard or different, but its so clear they get treated like crap since they light up to see my big back.
One of the worst things I've heard at the deli counter came after the attendant cut 212g of Lyoner after I asked for 200g. Her eyes got huge and it was obvious that she was preparing for something, then her coworker touched her arm and said: "Don't worry, he's a good one." And I hated that...1/2
