Last week we dropped an episode on Drive with pop culture writer/author, @chrisdeville.bsky.social This week, Chris wrote about Drive and made a 40 song playlist full of bangers! Check out our episode and Chris' excellent writing!

After discussing 'Drive' on @soundtrackyourlife.net, I made a 40-song playlist. Chromatics, Kavinsky, forebears like Vangelis, peers like M83, synthwave, etc. I also wrote about the movie's influence on 2010s music and our neverending nostalgia for an imagined 1980s. Behold the 'Drive' diaspora.

When @soundtrackyourlife.net asked me which soundtrack I'd like to discuss on their podcast, I knew it had to be Drive. Excited to share our conversation about it today.
