I love CHRISTINE. It’s popular to criticize the POV switch, but I love it and I think the criticism is b/c King said he wrote himself into a corner, and critics see that switch as a cop-out. It’s not. It’s a brilliant solution that expands the scope and amps up the suspense. It’s masterful.

One of my students was reading my book THE LOST ONES, and after class she came up to me and said, “This book is really good.” Man, that’s the best.
This is a beautiful review. Really good books peel back the layers of ourselves, and Breznican’s sincerity here makes me even more excited to read King and Straub’s final collaboration.

I don’t make much money from my writing, I don’t have many readers (but the few I have are the coolest), but I am immensely grateful to be a writer and will forever be honored and humbled that so many presses have published my work. It really is something seeing my books like this. Do it for love.
