Anybody else ever leave their mail on the trunk of their car, forget it’s there, and then proceed to litter the neighborhood when you drive somewhere, shedding mail like scales?

Loved this conversation about Camp Slashers @horrorjoypod.bsky.social (The comment about “little death” makes me think of Camp Miasma, which I’ll be seeing next weekend.) I’ve also been writing a slasher, and so I’m fully immersed in the bloody joy of it all. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/h...

“Spooky” DiLeo: article about me written by my friend back when we were seniors in high school.
Great conversation @paultremblay.bsky.social @scaresshapedus.bsky.social about Jackson’s “The Intoxicated.” I love this story. (I even wrote a story inspired by it titled, “Graduation Party.”) podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/t...

A really fun (possessing?) conversation @claymcleod.bsky.social @scaresshapedus.bsky.social (I saw FALLEN in the theaters and then wouldn’t stop singing “Time is on My Side” until my high school girlfriend broke up with me.) podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/t...

Rediscovered the debut album from Jem, Finally Woken, among my CDs and I can’t stop listening to it.
A friend of mine told me 25 years ago to watch this movie. It’s finally time.
These two stories are great and the second one was giving me @johnlangan.bsky.social vibes. And these stories are read by Straub which makes it an absolute pleasure.
Just wondering why believing Libraries Are Essential is even debatable. (Shirt @bittersouth.bsky.social )
The book I’m writing longhand is so hilariously crazy, it’s exactly what I wanted to write, regardless of it ever being published.
Advice from Michael Chabon @writersdigest.bsky.social in 2002 remains the best writing advice I’ve encountered. A regular schedule isn’t always necessary, but for me it’s the best way to work.
An excellent interview. She’s brilliant, she’s a great writer, but is she really so out of touch to think including AI-generated images in her book wont come back to hurt her reputation? Why not hire an artist? Greatly disappointed.
This is maybe the scariest episode I've ever released. Annie Jacobsen joins me for a conversation about BIOLOGICAL WAR: A SCENARIO - her speculative non-fiction menace of a book, in which she traces an engineered pathogen from its lab escape to the end of civilisation. Enjoy. Sort of.
