I wish news sites had keyword muting like social media does. Ages ago I remember @news.abc.net.au adding an option to hide all stories about the royal wedding. That was brilliant. They need to bring that back and let people choose to hide stories for triggers e.g. sexual abuse, harassment etc.
Since I clearly missed the boat on affordable portable gaming PCs (e.g. SteamDeck), I've been looking into the cheaper devices for emulation and streaming (Ayn Odin 2, Ayaneo Pocket Evo etc). Then I come across this beast. Someone made a Backbone controller for a whole-ass full size tablet 😂

Just had a stark reminder of how many people I've lost touch with over the social media wars. Friends who still only use Facebook, or never made the journey over from the bird site. Planning a Sydney trip, probably mid September, and trying to find all the people I'd like to catch up with.
