Alright fine. I’ll read your mecsplo. But I’ve never been in the military so I’m pretty sure I won’t get it.
stages of demographic dismissal: 1. minority votes in massive %s for your party 2. rival party attacks them directly to break this 3. party concedes to rival party to try and get rival party supporters 4. minority % support lowers 5. party labels the minority extremists or a cult to blame minority
me when i'm one second away from saying the phrase "trans cult" or "gender ideology"
Abdul El-Sayed: "Weijia, with all due respect, this is the third time you've asked about a Twitch streamer ... their whole game is to make us fight culture wars so that we don't pay attention to the fact the president has made $2.2 billion ... "
Historically, “Accept that we deserve human rights or we make your life difficult.” Seems to be a broadly winning strategy.
John Brown, your icon on this very post, shot people dead for not accepting that Black People deserved equal rights.
The gay rights message was: "Look, we're just regular people who want to love who we love. What's so wrong with that?" The trans rights message is: "Support us or go fuck yourself you bigoted asshole." Guess which one is more persuasive.
Not just calling little girls "men" but often literally "grown men" when they are the exact same age as every other girl their age. It's really overtly gross, blatantly hateful, national stage abuse of vulnerable children. Any Dem that goes along with it is as disgusting as every Republican.
Like no, I'm sorry, but it's not okay or acceptable for Democratic candidates to be going around calling trans girls (literally children) "men." Acton and Sand and Turek shouldn't do that. It's unnecessarily cruel, it's dehumanizing, it's disrespectful.
calling her done for now. may revisit it later to touch up some details and do a proper base
it's incredible how easily you can be labelled as having radical views for having like actual beliefs and principles
100%. The notion that the President can conjure up revenue streams that free him from constitutional congressional control over spending is far more alarming than just another questionable spending proposal.
W/o getting drawn into the "seriously or literally" / "it'll never happen" trap, we need to stomp *hard* on the continuing effort to undermine Article 1 power of the purse by saying that this or that revenue stream makes something outside the normal budget process. 1/ www.nbcnews.com/business/eco...
people like to treat trans people as a neglectable minority in elections but the truth is we're about 1% of the population and almost entirely single-issue, even assuming no trans person has cis loved ones who'll vote with them thats enough to swing the popular vote in most US elections
if you didn’t want all the trannies on the bluesky to spontaneously reinvent game theory from first principles you maybe shouldn’t have been beating them over the head about how you’ve forced them into a political prisoners dilemma for like two years idk
I’m proud of what I do. I am fighting against the inevitable. We’re all going to die. But maybe, just maybe, if we’re lucky, I can help people buy time. Just one more year, just one more smile, just one more second of love before it all ends.
"They undersupplied the first aid room, I can't get the sterile water to clean the wounds." *Grabs a bottle of water out of the fridge, jabs a pen through the lid* "What are you doing?" *Handing the bottle over* "Getting you a sterile rinse" "Oh... huh, yeah."
I saw this post by @Mimila_el on X, and it really speaks to me as many folks are used to the Goblin on the right. I am a little more on the left side, thank you very much~!
So I’m pretty sure this is to disguise naphtha shortages from the Iran War. www.nbcnews.com/world/asia/j...
Some Japanese snack packages are turning black and white as Iran war depletes ink supply
The move is the latest caused by the effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz because of the war in Iran. The war has sent prices of oil and other products higher, as well as caused supply crunches.

NO NO NO NO NO NOOOOOO
The international chess Federation banned trans women from playing women's chess. CHESS. It's not about fairness. The fairness argument is intended to radicalize people into more violent forms of transphobia.
That rock skipping, yes tossing stones across a pond or river, is a gender segregated sport, should tell you something about how gendered sports are not about fairness of physical ability, and is instead about the male ego
It turns out “at least three, don’t play games with me kid” is actually the only politically successful answer to that question
I really do enjoy taking my friends to nice restaurants especially when they have been struggling financially. Everyone deserves roses every once in a while. Everyone deserves to see the beauty.
