Amazon started running their confirmation emails through AI because it used to tell me things like, "Your Dr. Easley Cat Litter 18lb bag shipped" and now all that email says is "Your pet and household good shipped"

My favorite football influencers are the ones that support big teams and crash out after every small result because of part of me is like, "Yeah, man, maybe Chelsea will get relegated this season after losing to Spurs in a pre-season friendly. I also would like to see that."

So the inquiry into the Korean Football Associations mishandling of the National Team is happening and an email that showed how the KFA fumbled hiring Jesse Marsch was just published. I just fell to my knees at a Walmart.

The reason why Himesh Patel wouldn’t work in this particular version of They Odyssey is because the film’s central metaphor for the fall of western civilization would backfire so hard if Odysseus was POC and not white.

In this piece, I regret the paragraph about the uses of the POC actors - who are all great, but IMO under-utilized (and why couldn‘t Himesh Patel be Odysseus instead?) I still think the film largely wastes its strong cast, but I framed it badly.

Not an expert, but there's definitely a connection between Paramount pausing the WBD deal and the fact that Oracle stock has been in free fall recently, right? Like Oracle stock was being used to help pay for the deal, and now that the stock is losing value, the funds to make the deal dried up?

I feel like internally Marvel is really embarrassed about not taking advantage of the fact it could've cast any one of China's top actors to be Shang-Chi, and instead cast the guy from Kim's Convenience because he asked them on Twitter, and they've never really lived that down.

I get you don’t want to spoil your movie but you should at least make it so that the replay the hits trailer doesn’t actively make someone remember why they stopped caring about the MCU in the first place.
