Watch out for a phony Geek Squad protection scam that is going around. Email states my 2 year protection plan is auto-renewing today for $ 300-400 (got 2 notices!) unless I contact them to cancel. I have no protection plan in place. And a legit plan is $99.

I arrived back home from England on 7/22, and I have yet to receive my luggage. Last known location was Savannah. Filed a lost baggage claim with United. All my souvenirs were it in. Plus most of my underwear 🩲 😬

This odyssey is one for the ages and I NEVER want to do this again. Driving alone for 12 hours after already being up for 24 is NO fun. 4/

I was fueled by pure anger and didn’t stop until I got past NJ, Baltimore and DC (which had a good amount of traffic at Midnight.) I only cried once out of frustration, but dammit I made it home to my cats! 3/

I refused to spend one more minute in that wretched airport, so I marched over to the rental cars and got me what was left-a Toyota Tacoma. I then proceeded to drive 645 miles overnight and got home this morning. 2/

So pretty much EVERY FLIGHT out of EWR was cancelled yesterday, and United said “NOPE. NO ONE IS GETTING THEIR LUGGAGE TONIGHT EITHER.” 1/

Welcome back to the fuckin’ USA. Left LHR this morning, circled around EWR for an hour then landed only to find out my connection to MYR was cancelled. Oh, and United cancelled ALL smaller jet flights out of EWR today.

I am currently in London during high tourist season. I am tolerate to a point. What really chafes me is people who block pathways and stop to take photos with NO self awareness that they are being rude to others. 😡

Unpopular opinion maybe but when you’re a public official paid by taxpayer dollars your health information needs to be public knowledge. I don’t know how we can have literal representatives disappear for weeks to months, maybe dead or incapacitated and it’s just a collective shrug
