What if a dam disappeared? Where would the river flow? Which areas might flood in the future? Those are the questions we addressed for the Insuresilience Solutions Fund, who commissioned a comprehensive climate risk assessment for the Ukrainian Climate Office.

We've wrapped up #COP30! Starting with the launch of our project “Brasil in a +2ºC World” with Itaúsa, and continuing the the many panels where we participated, we have highlighted how we are making research operational through state-of-the-art applications based on satellite and climate data.

The Mamirauá Declaration announced at #COP30 is a joint commitment to promote the implementation of technologies to monitor biodiversity and conserve the Amazon rainforest.  We are part of the signatories as an innovation partner focused on developing tech based on climate and observational data.

The first article of Helena Fos' thesis is out! Helena Fos was a trainee at Lobelia while she did her Master's thesis within the FAR-DWO project led by the @ub.edu . She analysed how deep cascading of continental shelf water has changed during the last decades in the Western Mediterranean.
