The Slaughter case, overturning precedent, returns us to a spoils system where a president can “clean house” every four years, destroying our professional, independent civil service.

Useful tool from #APS to help develop/submit original, unique comments on the proposed OMB regulation changes. Anyone can use it, not just scientists or APS members. Additional guidelines: 1) be specific - details matter! 2) Include personal impacts. 3) Equally important are national impacts!
