Astrophysik und LLMs können miteinander unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen in Verbindung gebracht werden, um rein numerische Simulationen effektiver zu gestalten, wie sich in dieser Kollaboration gezeigt hat. LLMs werden hier nicht mehr als Chatbots genutzt, sondern als hochstrukturierte Funktionen.

In a recent project and collaboration with fundamental Physics it could be shown, that it is possible and effective to incorporate an out-of-domain LLM in a simulation of astrophysical data consisting only of non-linguistic data. More informations on how this was achieved: arxiv.org/abs/2506.14757

Another tool reconstructs Middle High German continuous text from annotated TEI XML with additional information and integrates the semantic information as a tooltip. It is modularly expandable with additional TEI XML data with the same annotation or with new ontological data in XML format.
