Espionage diplomacy is a funny thing. The CIA director reportedly makes a request—don’t share intel with the Iranians—to the SVR director that he would never agree to; the SVR director denies Russia is sharing intel with Iran (of course a liaison channel is open). A merry-go-round of deception.
