Kid is home sick from school, so I put him to work watching #AmazingRace and helping come up with exit press questions. his early favorites are Doug/Dylan and Daisha/Dalton but he says “I’m sick today so I’m probably not as good at picking winners as I usually am.”

I tried to watch that Wonka show on Netflix but I absolutely CANNOT with that AI-ass Uncanny Valley Gene Wilder voice. It’s gross and ghoulish and I don’t care if his estate gave permission or the show itself is amazing, this is a line I will not cross.

Honestly inconvenient and inconsiderate for CBS to schedule all of its important reality TV events during Fat Bear Week. Don’t they know that’s my Super Bowl?

Today I learned there’s a semi-active RHAP subreddit and it’s pretty much exactly what you’d expect from Reddit: a sockpuppet echo chamber for complaining that the podcasters are too woke. 🙄

My other #bigbrother highlight of the week was Devens trying to Hubicki everyone out of the Pressure Cooker.

Hot take: #bigbrother needs more double elimination episodes if only because Julie turning into a taskmaster to keep them on pace, and then getting increasingly frustrated when people don’t listen, is very funny (and cathartic to watch as a parent).

So apparently Charlie from LOST is on the next season of #TheTraitors. It’s @amikebloomtype.bsky.social’s world and we’re all just living in it.

I watched the #AmazingRaceCanada finale with a VPN on my ipad and I should’ve been doing this all summer. I got to see multiple Canadian Heritage Minutes and a corny/awesome Jon Montgomery Desjardins ad.
