It feels like all horror movies from the 70s had some type of religious element to them. The Exorcist, The Omen, Rosemary's Baby... I'm watching The Sentinel and it's from 1977 and that does too.

Watched last night! And it was @asimpletailor.bsky.social first time seeing it.
Best Labor Day movies. Iβll start:
Dolly truly was the best of us and we should all strive to be more kind, more loving and more generous. She was one of those people who doesn't come along very often, but definitely makes an impact. I know people are focusing on her saying that she still had more she wanted to do a few days before
If I have a gynocologist who is just telling me to go on birth control to manage my Endo pain should I choose a different doctor?
It's always cool when you're hometown gets mentioned in a boom you're reading. π
It's always so cool to see the northern lights.
Seriously, does this administration not like nature and pretty things? Cutting down the oldest cherry tree in DC to make way for a golf course? One of the most boring sports ever. Whatever.
I read 5 books in June. I'm so proud of myself! And 3 of them were in support of Pride month. @thestorygraph.com #booksky
Clarence Thomas says the 14th Amendment should be read narrowly because it was written for formerly enslaved people. By that logic, the 2nd Amendment was written for muskets, not AR-15s. Funny how that kind of originalism only shows up when it's convenient.
My recent reads for June. The Heartstopper books are so cute and I need to read the rest. Finding Gene Kelly is the perfect swoony romance with classic movie references. And it has endometriosis rep. #booksky
Voicemails for Isabelle was such a cute romcom! Loved all the vibes and the music. Definitely check it out if you haven't.

As much as I would love to see her run again, I think others deserve a shot. 2028 is going to be a stacked race. She had her moment.
Former Vice President Kamala Harris said she is considering a 2028 presidential bid during a speech in New York, where she drew strong support from Black voters.
If any of you watch Paradise, I need your thoughts. #TVsky
It just got really cloudy all of the sudden and I'm hearing thunder. Now it's raining really hard. π
I don't know how many of you are familiar with Jackie and Shadow, a pair of bald eagles in California that Friends of Big Bear Valley does a Livestream for every day, but they are raising money to save the area where these eagles nest that will be used by developers and take away their habitat.
I love when I pause a movie at the perfect moment.
Happy International Women's Day to the original International Woman
He's freaking living under a rock. This is not going toast just a few weeks and your master Trump went behind your back and started a war.
And just like that weβre back to βDepartment of Defenseβ
It's not our job to go onto to all these countries and do regime change. He says "Cuba is next" like why do we have to do this? It's not our job. Plus, we are literally hurting our allies by the current war.
Netflix was the best option for getting WB and now they have declined to bid higher than Paramount. This sucks.
