Never forget that they had to spend trillions of dollars, build massive data centers, consume millions of galloons of water and insane amounts of electricity, just to kind of do what you can do better with your imagination and a cup of coffee. That's how envious they are of what you can do.
It's crap that editors are now having to put considerable thought and time into AI detection and response. However, this is a great report from Bona Books on what has to be done. I also appreciate their correct description of AI 'writers' as 'fraudsters'.

When we launched JUSTICE LEAGUE 3000 in 2014, it was a Giffen-DeMatteis-Maguire project. For reasons that remain unclear, DC removed Kevin. I loved what Howard Porter & @scottkolins.bsky.social did (they're both outstanding), but look at this art I found in an old file & imagine the Maguire version.
My escalation with Etsy reached a senior manager, who resubmitted the claim...and the slop has been removed! The key takeaway seems to be the "right of publicity" is what is being infringed upon. (I had submitted under "other" before. Not sure what was different but Etsy legal rejected that.) 1/2

"Austen" hasn't answered, so I looked it up. It's no one. I suspect every big platform that hides behind safe harbor clauses does the same. Corporate accountability...🙄
