Doing what we have done, on the other place, for the last 14 years. Ask us a #Sheffield question & we (or our followers) will answer it. Next Sheffield Socials at Heeley Tap on 29th of October from 6.30pm. Meet n chat. No agenda. Any Qs ask.

Asked to do this for Sheffield Cricket Lovers’ Society thought I’d share here as well. Similar groups around the country so if you fancy meeting up with others who also miss the cricket season; this might be for you.

The next #AHF50 Project of the Week is Portland Works. Fun fact: it is here that stainless steel cutlery was first produced back in 1914. 🍴 Today, the Grade II* site is a thriving artisan cooperative, home to over 30 different craftspeople and small manufacturers. 👇 ahfund.org.uk/anniversary/...

Project of the Week 38.

Thank you Ros @nowthenmag.bsky.social for highlighting the efforts of communities across Sheffield helping our swifts thrive.

Swifts are incredibly faithful to their nesting places, but when older buildings are repaired, the gaps they used for nesting get blocked. @sheffswiftnetwork.bsky.social is attempting to build a network of people and neighbourhoods that gives swifts somewhere to nest across #Sheffield. ✍️ Ros Ayres
