The private jet tax could raise millions. It could fund an emergency insulation programme, better buses or community-owned energy. The biggest polluters should pay the most towards tackling climate change and protecting the vulnerable from its impacts. #PolluterPaysPrinciple #ClimateJustice

The super rich criss-cross the globe in private jets, while many people can’t afford to heat their homes. This inequality *must* be reduced, as part of a #justtransition. We need a strong private jet tax, set at least 10x higher than current air tax, to support #climatejustice.

Data centres for AI could more than double Scotland's total electricity use. If it’s really Scotland’s Energy, why let big tech use so much of the renewable electricity we need for our homes, our transport, our industry? We need a moratorium on hyperscale data centres. @stephengethins.bsky.social

If it's Scotland's Energy, prove it! Ordinary people should feel the benefit of Scotland's renewables wealth. The ScotWind wealth fund should seed fund #communityownership of energy, land, community hubs, pubs and other assets. @ourpower.scot @cescotland.bsky.social @lesleyriddoch.bsky.social

All of Scotland needs a £2 bus fare cap by May: the end of this Parliament year. England's will be in place in January! Many people on lower incomes rely on buses. Others want to leave the car at home but need encouragement. This is a no-regrets way to reduce cost of living & climate impact. 🚌

Scotland needs an emergency insulation programme to ✅ bring down energy bills ✅ cut climate emissions from homes People experiencing #fuelpoverty must be prioritised for funding @povertyalliance.org @wwfscotland.bsky.social @fuelpovertyaction.bsky.social @changeworks.bsky.social @cemvo.bsky.social
