It's awards season in schools, and we've been busy making some events more accessible. This is the reason that we made Zip Captions, but now people are using it for so much more! How are you using captioning? #a11y

Just because #GAAD is over, doesn't mean that the world needs to stop being an accessible place. Accessibility matters every single day, and that's why Zip Captions is here to help you to make every single moment more accessible. Join us on our journey to make the world a more accessible place!

Everyday should be Accessibility Day. Join us and champion accessibility at all your events today!

In the last 12 months, over 1000 people have installed Zip Captions from the Microsoft Store, and of the nearly 8000 who have visited the page, almost 15% installed Zip Captions! These are some seriously impressive numbers!

Make sure that you have set your dialect to ensure that you are getting the most accurate results for your voice. If you have moved between counties, or you have an accent which is a mix of cultures, you might need to try a few different ones to get the most accurate results that you can!

We're excited to announce two things today: 1. We have issued everyone who uses Zip Captions with 30 minutes of our Enhanced Captions. These will automatically appear in your account next time you login. 2. The Enhanced Captioning Engine will now be the default if you have tokens

You might be wondering why you should use our new captioning engine: - More accurate on a mobile device - Proper sentence structure - Better punctuation - Lower Word Error Rate These features lead to: - More accurate captioning - More accurate transcripts - Higher readability scores #a11y

Each year on March 3rd, the World Health Organization celebrates #WorldHearingDay. This year's theme is Changing Mindsets to Empower Yourself. Zip Captions allows people to do exactly this, to empower themselves! As a friend recently said, "it's bring your own accessibility".

We encountered a small issue with our new Captioning engine implementation - it would stop after 20 minutes - but don't fret, it's all fixed now! Plus, we'll now automatically roll you over to the free engine when you run out of tokens! Swanky!

Along with today's huge update adding AI based captions, we also added dialect support for everyone! This doesn't matter if you're a Patron, or just a regular user, you can now choose a dialect to help make captioning more accurate. You can find dialects in the settings. #a11y #accessibility

We now support multiple dialects!
