Genuinely I think there's something wrong with caring *too* much about the resale value of your card games, it's not an investment its a thing to *play*
HP and damaged cards are actually worth more because they have character, so write that down

also real talk even if you get into a prestigious fair or get picked up by an indie publisher you still aren't going to make enough money to quit your day job So i think you should just draw the unpublishable sicko shit you really want to draw and print a doujinshi
