Still upset that not only AI ruins everything it touches, it has also invaded niches I enjoyed. Elaborate rom hacks and homebrew ideas that used to be made out of skill and passion are now invaded by AI bros doing it as shittily as possible. I'm just constantly going "is this AI" every time now.

100%. For those unfamiliar, Van Halen had a line in their rider that essentially said “no brown M&Ms.” It was a way to see if the promoter had actually read the contract. They had a shitload of gear to tour with, so if they’re skipping one thing, it’s guaranteed they’re skipping something essential.

What else are you cheating out on? Why should I be bothered to go somewhere you couldn't be bothered to promote with a little of your own personality?

I found the "No Games" meme people did for PS5 like really forced at the start of the gen, mostly since it was a rerun, but no they're like actively just not making games anymore.

"Reviewing an AI made translation" is like repairing a trainwreck VS building a new train from scratch. If you want the end result to be shiny and neat, you're better off just building it new from scratch.
Fun fact: "Reviewing an AI made translation" is more work for translators than just translating it themselves, because AI translations do not pass the sniff test beyond the most superficial. It's a loophole companies use as an excuse to underpay translators, and nothing else.

when i worked at sbux in high school they kept scheduling me for like 35 hours a week and i kept saying i can't work this schedule i have to go to school. turned out they were hugely overscheduling kids to avoid giving enough hours to the adults that they would've qualified for health insurance
